Ancient City Ayutthaya Travel Video 2017
Day 2 Thailand trip : Ayutthaya day trip from Bangkok City

On day two of our Thailand trip, we head 80 km from Bangkok City to travel the historic city of Ancient Ayutthaya or Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formerly, ancient Ayutthaya City was the capital of the Siamese Kingdom known for its propsperous trade ports. Luckily, we had a driver to give us an Ayutthaya day tour. Our road trip from Bangkok to Ayutthaya Thailand was one of a kind and I’m so glad we got the chance to visit. Definitely, if you happen to be interested in Thailand’s history or prepared to experience a literal temple run, Ayutthaya is a must visit! We kicked off at our first stop in Southeast Ayuttahaya, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon or Mongkol a Buddhist temple. We also explored the temple ruins in Ancient Ayutthaya such as Wat Mahathat. Break from the temples and ruins? We experienced a boat ride in Ayotthaya Floating Market and Elephant Village where we bought more souvenirs from shops. We ended our second day trip in Thailand back in Bangkok City at Khaosan Road near our hotel.

Khop khun ka! Thanks for watching!
