This is a dim sum breakfast my family and I had recently at a Thai Dim Sum restaurant, Pae Yim Dim Sum, (แป๊ะยิ้มติ่มซำ aka Poppers Smile Dim Sum) in Krabi Town, in Krabi Thailand. The restaurant is not far from the centre of Krabi Town and the food there is delicious! They serve a wide variety of dim sum and other Thai breakfast food. The range of food and the prices make this a great eating option in Krabi Town.
Pae Yim Dim Sum restaurant is at Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/4BP26UYuSsGwKByc9
It’s open from 6am till 11am every day.
The meal we had in the video was 396 baht ($12.61 US), including drinks. The restaurant is well located, clean, and comfortable and the staff are friendly. I can definitely recommend visiting this place if you’re in Krabi Thailand and you love dim sum.

Dim Sum is known as a must eat Chinese food and the Thai version is also delicious! Thai cuisine and street food in Thailand has taken influences from many other styles of Asian cooking, including Chinese food. Thai dim sum generally includes an extensive selection of seafood, shellfish, vegetable and meat dishes. It’s a must for breakfast if you travel in Thailand!

You’ll find Thai street food on many street corners in Thailand, as well as at every market, be it in Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok or Pattaya. And if you’re looking for Halal street food you will find loads in Krabi Thailand, as well as plenty of Halal restaurants. Thai food has taken many influences from Chinese food so you will find many familiar flavours. Thai food markets and night markets are some of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all over Thailand, you’re never far from one. At the markets you’ll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since April 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you’re looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi’s Koh Phi Phi Island.
